Hmmm... my 09 wasn't much more than that and prob has $1500-1800 more in farkles and less than 1/4 the miles.  Could have integrated the grip controller nicer into the fairing.... and what is that.... a glob of snot holding the wire in place coming off the grip controller.  The price isn't bad, it's just that there should be a lot of 08 C-14s in the ballpark with many having much lower miles and more upgrades than this example.

Lot of miles and no ABS for that price IMO... Sure the bike can go many more miles, but I've seen tons with alot less miles and ABS for that price...

What attracted me to it was the extras, but you're right.

That's not a lot of extras... many of those can be picked up used individually.

Do you want farkles or a specific year bike?  It would be great to have both and of course in the color you want but IMHO..... focus should be on the bike, you can always add the extras to your liking later on.

Either way, don't miss out on some good riding weather and get something soon!

Here's a nice looking example from this side of the country I found through Craigslist.  From the pics I see ABS, Seat, exhaust, windshield, top box, risers, tank bra (yuck)... ridiculously low miles at a nice price!!

tank bra (yuck)...

And I was just contemplating putting this one I picked up in the UK for sale as it is not for my 08.  May take it down to the MotoGP in Indy and see if I can get my money back out of it....or just keep it till I wear this 08 out and have to replace it. Not everyone may share that disdain for the bra. I will get the correct one when I go back over but I think it only comes in black for my year.

You're right...both! Some great advice here, and thanks again to everyone who is taking the time to chime in...extremely helpful! I know more of what I don't want than what I want, and that's a short list. After reading the responses here, I really don't have a set criteria, other than what we all look for and that's a good deal.

That would be a sold bike if it were around here.....another possibility.

You should be able to do better on a 2009 if that's the direction, I paid less than $11 in January of last year.

We'll see how bad he wants to sell it....maybe it's the heat?

Nice bike though...same here, ABS as well.
