If you compare that with the other crap we have to deal with out here...sometimes it's a toss-up whether it's worth it, and trust me...    they don't ALL look like that. :o

Well, I was gonna offer to go up there with you to look at it, but I'm about 500 miles south.

Really appreciate that! I'm in Fresno, so a little closer!

One thing I'm beginning to notice with some sellers of these bikes is the stripping off of extras after a listing. I've been in contact with 4 sellers, 2 of them had ads with pictures that showed all kinds of farkles that would have made them "almost" worth the price they were asking, only to find out that they are not included in the sale...then why show them?? The third one finally got back to me with one word answers to what I thought were pretty basic questions, and the fourth keeps bugging me. I have lost count of the number of bikes I've bought, but this is new to me.

I would only guess that they originally wanted to sell everything together, but after having it for sale and not moving they lowered the price and sold the Farkles separate.  However they should update the photo.  Plane tickets are relatively cheap and maybe the seller would split the cost for a 1 way ticket, I have seen SEVERAL for sale here and on the other forum.  Nice ones at that, expand your search area and ride that sucker home.

They flat out stated that the farkles are currently on there, but will be removed upon sale. I don't mind traveling at all, over half the vehicles I buy are out of the area....pretty much planned on that!

Still in the game...the one up north didn't pan out, but I was contacted by a seller that I had replied to a couple weeks ago. It's an 08, only add-on is a Cee-Bailey's windshield, 9k miles and may get it for 7K.

Looks like I may have found the "one"...a 2011 with 2800 miles. Is the factory warranty transferable?

Yes, it can be transferred to a new owner. You can even buy the extended factory warranty for 3 or 6 more years. Yes, that's right, 9 years of factory warranty can be had on these bikes.  http://www.zggtr.org/index.php?topic=225.0

Thanks again everyone for all the help! I'll be a little more involved here once I get settled in with it. I'll take a train up there, and ride the 4 1/2 hours back...nothing like jumping in with both feet. ;) Feel I got a fair deal, so the time was right.

Well, congrats on the bike! I guess you'll have to work around the slower color.
