With all that included the price would go up substantially and they would lose potential buyers.  It's always a balancing act on what to add vs cost and then price to the consumer.  I'm not willing to pay the extra price for all that stuff.

The only signifcant thing on my list is a factory electronic cruise control, which shouldn't add THAT much to the cost.  I suspect it would be popular enough as an option it's probably just cheaper to integrate it in to the base design.

Oh, and some side cases that could be left in an unlocked state.

Factory cruise! You could remove other stuff to reduce weight. But the cruise is a feature that should come on a tour bike. And the movable windshield! A lot of the other stuff is really unnecessary!

Factory cruise control
A rear storage box with a comfortable backrest for my passengers
Factory stereo/ XM receivers with jacks for headphones, bluetooth connections
Setup or prewired GPS

Hey Kawasaki, build it like you would take it on a two week long trip.  Think of how we use the bike and build it accordingly!

It's a great bike for the price....But the factory seat is unacceptable, I mean how hard would it be for Kawi to design the seat a little flater so your not sliding foreward on to your...Well you know, it's kinda uncomfortable when something round is being squished flat  :o, otherwise I love the bike and don't have many other complaints. I think a seat mod is in my future.

I would like a three position Map... Sport, Cruise and Rain mode. Make the Sport full flys out/balls out ...I don't care how...... just do it!!!! Hows that...too demanding?

Hey it's all clean in here ... lets pig up the place... what about Kirby and KiPass??? I was told Kipass is what killed Kirby, the radio waves fried his brain and dried him up... so don't put the Fob next to your head...it goes best in the hot tub or party drink glass...

Nothing because I JUST BOUGHT a 2011!  Don't **** me off with something I can't have!

But if I had a list:

1) Cruise control <----------------
2) LOWER stock seat height- then make the damn seats taller if need be so people have options
3) Turn signals in the mirrors
4) All LED signals
5) HID headlights
6) Integrated rear helmet lock, keyed to master key
7) More options for combining/customizing multifunction display
8 ) Bike alarm... possibly with pager in FOB
9) More/larger brake/tail/running lights
10) English user's manual??? ;)

Guess I'm kinda old school.  I like the lower base price and adding the farkles.  Nothing wrong with the turn key approach but I get satisfaction from tweaking it just for me.  :D    I still don't understand why most factory seats are either built for drag racing or to give us all higher voices - The factory low gel seat is flat and works for me.  That proves factories CAN build a flat non sloping seat.  8)
