I use those as well but it's the jeans I'm concerned about. Is there a different pants material that does better in moisture control than blue cotton?
I'd think that another option is a seatcover that allows for ventilation for our twig n two berries. A beaded seat, Airhawk R or even a sheepskin purportedly allows for some air movement that could help with extra humidity.
Here's what's eating at me... I've never had a comfort issue riding distance in jeans (500+ mile days (yes, I know jeans aren't the best protection)). I'm prepping for a 2000 mile trip in August (roughly 300 mile days so I can stop at whatever seems interesting), so I bought an Airhawk, after multiple endorsements on this site and others. In the 60 miles or so I've been riding with it and figuring out the best air pressure, my jeans now bind like nobody's business. I also have a sheepskin which was no problem last year, and I'm gonna try riding shorts and/or good textile pants... but the (apparent) backwards progress with the Airhawk is unexpected. I'm gonna deflate the Airhawk more, and add the sheepskin, and eventually better clothing options... and hope some combination is the magic bullet for me.
