I'm trying out the ballroom jeans from Duluth Trading.   In reading on the 'net, too much spandex will cause a pair of pants to get 'soggy'.  Not the result I'm looking for.  However, 1% may work out.  I'll let you know.

I've also ordered some self sticking heat shielding to add to the bottom of the seat and tank.  Should have that here by tomorrow.

I've got some heat shield material also. Been waiting to gather enough trinkets to justify removing the tank and plastic. I think I'll flush the coolant system while I'm in there and add some Water Wetter. Since It's going to be 100*+ for the next week or so it seems like a good time.

Let us know how the jeans work out.

Got my heat shielding affixed to the underside of the seat.  Still waiting on the pants.  It will be interesting to see if it works.  I'm thinking that if I can reduce heat coming into the seat it will help with long term comfort during the summer.  At any rate, I don't see where it can hurt.  Full power to the deflector shield.  I only wish I had phasers and photon torpedoes....
