Then I guess I shouldn't mention Chamois Butt'r...Is that french for butt?

Cycling compression shorts. In particular Pearl Izumi Attack Shorts with Race 3-D Chamois. I've tried a lot of other cycling shorts and these have the right amount of gel and have decent contours that help the junk and the trunk... The compression also helps with the thighs. Here's a link to the exact shorts. My scars just reopened Used a pair of tose on a little daytrip to Barstow, CA. The seams from the pads turned into a diamond edge sawsall. If they aint seemless in the seat area I aint wearing em, no way, no how. Good old vaseline for me, the powders all tend to absorb moisture and then bunch up in a nice line, ready to saw through the toughest butt cheeks. Most any GI who has humped an 80 lb ruck for any real distance will tell ya that jar aint for lonesome activities. Seemless and vaseline will get ya there in more comfort then jeans and the finest saddle.

I was contemplating another seat, but these deal with the last little problem I was having... I can use 'em on my flat bar road bike too.
Vaseline? Butts?
I'm outta here!
Seemless and vaseline will get ya there in more comfort then jeans and the finest saddle.
Wow.......just wow.Give it a shot, after disbelieving Rangers for a few years I found myself deep in the North Carolina woods, sand felt like it was knee deep, ruck felt like a ton and all I could think of was just how raw the netherlands were. Grabbed some vaseline and slathered it on. I was in heaven, then I realized how deep the sand was. I was always worried it would hold the sand in bad places, well, that sand was already there. I really shoulda listened so much sooner. Buy a branded, way over priced product with a monkey on it or get a small jar, cheapest comfort item out there. Layered like this, vaseline, seemless boxer briefs (non cotton), and riding pants. Cotton in the Summer really must be avoided, once wet it will create its own seem.
You guys gotta be pulling my crank.
Kinda, just leave out the BC shorts The vaseline goes mostly in the creases, avoiding the stinky one
They have a cure for that now Chet.Well, if you realllllllly feel the need to lube up THAT area go right ahead
