etc..............I ordered a specific #2 Jewish (JIS) (Jewish Industrial Specification?????) philips tip set for the butterfly removal. Totally weird blow-torching the tip, but it worked like a charm. Screws came out lickity split without any hassle. Stupid me forgot how hot the screws got and burned myself taking the first screw off the magnet I used to retrieve them.

Well, I'm a biker chic with big boobs but I pride myself on being well-educated (phd) and reasonably smart.

I remember the picture and a thread with you discussing your "assets" from the old board. What was your user name before .... it wasnt papaboomboom

Any humor is fine....droll or otherwise.  Might help using the winking smiley, though.

I like the humor.

As to the "gentle warning"... duly noted from one of the better moderators I've been around (and I've been around a lot).

I'll drink to that.........I bet Jim will too.   ;)

You do a fine job Jim and I for one appreciate the effort and time that is put into this forum.  Now back to your normally scheduled thread that was about papaboomboom's tatas, Jewish screwdrivers, and PCV ground locations.   ;D

First decent ride since mods...............significantly more grunt with WOT in 2nd and 3rd. Bike is more linear in its response through the gears now. Map seems to be ok but am going to get the bike dyno'd soon. No cutouts or stalling. Not sure about mileage but I don't really care about it since I seldom take rides longer than 150 miles without stopping/gassing. I'll post dyno chart when the custom map is completed. Many thanks to all for tips/techniques on the install/mod.

BTW, while I am reluctant to take off my header pipe and give it to someone to drill a bung hole, I'd like to know how those who use the autotune like the performance.

I like having the extra insurance that the Auto Tune provides.  I don't have any dyno tuners (since I don't ride an HD) within an hour of me so the ability to change tunes easily to provide max mpg or max power makes it an invaluable tool for me.

I don't get what having a Harley or needing to change a tune for MPG and power has to do with anything.

I don't have an HD and was told that they wouldn't touch my bike so I bought an autotune to have a custom map that I could set up for what I want with out fear of running lean.

While I don't agree with every decision and/or action by the mods, that one was both good and logical.  A thread title of "help" is worthless.    Bye.

Someone?  My name is all over the edit.  It took you this long to notice?  I do modify subject lines on occasion to help members who scan threads to decide whether or not they care to read them.  I also modify posts (heavens to Betsy!) if I deem it necessary.  It doesn't happen a lot but it does happen.  I would think that any forum would have mods/admins that can change things at will.

Good luck!

Oh, and your signature line isn't grammatically correct but I let that one slide....
