Hi.
I have 2009 Model year, and I have added quick shifter to my bike. It is a pressure sensor type and it hooks up to PCV. Any body here using this set up with proven kill times? Stock settings came with the unit are 65.000 ms. And it does not work well for me..Any idea ? After I attempt to shift it cuts out late. I have tried to raise the time up to 200.000ms. Not much luck.

...I have the same gripe... especially fro 1 --> 2. It'll be different for every bike and set of mods; copying someones settings isn't likely to work. The best I can tell you is try setting the time a little longer and test it. You usually have make a few runs at it to get it right. I never got mine -perfect- like I did on the 10R, but it's close now.

Thanks for the replay. I have just came back from a short ride. Everythink feels just fine know. Come to find out, default setting for the pressure switch was set normally closed at the software . After changing the state to normally open took care of the problem. 65.000 ms. Seams to work fine for now but probably I will fine tune that later on. I am glad bike was stubborn enough to not to let me hurt tranny.Lol.

Thank you very much SpazOnaConcours. After playing with the kill times I can go through gears starting as low as 2000 rpm pretty smooth.

It's just too bad that you have to have a Power Commander to use these. Wish that they were a stand alone set-up.

....if you do some research you will find several companies that offer/make stand-alone quickshifter set-ups. They are usually a little superior in overall operation over a Dynojet set-up, but they are a bit pricey. A linear-switch, linkage style quickshifter is a good choice for anyone running a PC3/PCV... it's pretty much plug and play. It's fairly rare to see someone who would want the benefit of a QS but not also want the benefits of powercommander as well.

Blanton, mine is 4-114 . If you have a GP style shifter you would need a pull style. As for the mounting, I have cut mine about an inch, and tapped lever end for 6 x 1.00 mm. I got mine from Fuel MOTO and it was $199.00 plus shipping.

Going to get the ECU re-flashed, so the PC is just something extra that would have "only" been there for the quik shifter.

That one looks like it only kills the spark. Djqs kills the fuel on my set up. I guess right way to use fuel and spark.. on my bike with dj killing the fuel to me better than killing the spark, I would not want to load the engine with fuel hast killing the spark myself.

Loading fuel for something like 40-150ms (milli-seconds) I don't feel is an issue.

You know, I was actually a little nervous about the size of the pressure sensor. But , it turned out to be just the right size that it doesn't stick out like a sour tomb.

That's right Mike.
Easy to fit as described above, then go into the Powercommander software and change the quickshifter setting to normally closed (this is what caught me up at first) and the rest is all good to go.
