Do you have to pull the flies with the PVC 5
I always hear people say they pulled the flies with the Power commander
I guess it does not control them like the reflash does?
I always hear the reflash is smoother true or false?
IF I went with the PVC 5 It would be with auto tune , but it I have to pull the flies I guess it is the reflash.???????

I am interested in these questions too. I am leaning toward the pcv because of the ability for dual maps. But, Fred mentioned that guhl thought there was an extra set of tables to possibly run two maps with the reflash. I emailed guhl a month ago about dual maps but never heard back from them. I would love to have a fuel or Econo and a sport map on my '08.

No you don't have to pull the flies in order to install a Power Commander, but if you're not going to pull them I don't know if you will benefit much from the PC.

If you're going the re-flash route, there's really no reason to pull the flies because the ECU can be programmed to open them earlier which accomplishes basically the same thing as pulling them.

As far as the economy maps. . . in my opinion there's not too much to be gained here either.  You can instead program your PC or have your ECU re-flashed to keep things a little leaner at cruising RPMs and at partial throttle and only have the "performance map" kick in when you crack the throttle open further.
