It took me a while, but I finally got my Givi E55 painted and mounted to a Phill rack. The color isn't perfect but pretty close...

I also mounted a Powerlet plug to the fairing while I was at it.

Looks like a pretty neat wiring hook-up. how'd you do it, lots of people ask about this and yours looks like a really sanitary plug-in.

I'm using the stock plug that came with the Admore lighting kit. I drilled a hole and mounted the plug towards the bottom of the box, dead center. The power wire is routed through the same hole that the brake light assembly uses. I used a Dremel bit to carve out a small notch in the brake light assembly so I could easily feed the excess into the bike when I wasn't using the trunk. I also put a small bit of clear tape near the plug to protect the paint from getting scuffed by the plug.

Here's a picture with the trunk removed and the wire retracted.

That looks very nice....question for you does your light kit include for turn signals if so where did you find access to the wires in the rear compartment.

Yes, the Admore E55 kit includes turn signals.

If you remove the toolbox and slide out the ECU, you will find a large rubber boot towards the back that houses ALL of the connections from the taillight assembly.

There are some pictures floating around, but it's very self explanatory once you find the boot. By tracing the wires, you will notice that one plug goes to the brake, one plug goes to the license plate and 2 plugs go to the turn signals (one on each side). The ground is generally black and the power is generally colored.

Does it bounce like crazy as you ride when its empty?
Mine shakes like crazy and I did install the foam strips Phil included.

I haven't notice any bouncing yet. My Phill rack came with really thick felt pad strips, not foam.

I did notice a bit of vibration and noise from the truck release button, but I resolved that with a couple strategically placed strips of Velcro (the soft fuzzy part).

I have had two different sets of Phils Racks/ E55 Trunks, don't ask. The first set did have some bounce in it even after using the two strips. On this current setup I installed 3 strips evenly spaced and have ZERO bouncing. In fact it was kinda hard to get it secured to the rack the first time. Hope that helps.
