At 6'3 the compass comes no where near blocking any view even with the Cee Baileys dome cut and when riding over in South East Ohio I frequently need to know which way a cross road is heading after getting all twisted up. Bought a hundred dollar compass that spun faster than the tires. This 2.99 thing is great and sticks no matter what, got one in the Si, the Ram truck and a little lower on the Meanie. Nothing replaces a compass that works even when the droid and the Tom TOm go south.
The Analog clock works all the time, no need to dig in my pocket to find the cell or turn the bike on to check the time, quick check to the right and it is easier to read for those of us who did not grow up digital. Have used the alarm on several occasions to let my friends know it is time to leave. Otherwise these jokers would spend another few hours shooting the Sh*t. Alarm lets them know....it's time. If we are going to make it home to mama and home cooking....its time. Just added the thermometer. Paid off today when I saw a sudden drop, skipped the trip to grocery and got home before the pop up shower got me.
THe mirrors are awesome. Had a lot of trouble withn the bags as my angle is bad looking from where I sit, but these are just the ticket when watching troopers go the other way. Seem to be able to see a LOT of road back there. I did notice as the temp climbed from 70 to 95 today there was a lot more vibration as the temp got up there. May move them a half inch or so outboard as they look a little too far in when viewing from the front.
I like the K logo on your Zumo. How did you get that on there? The Whistler looks tucked away nicely . Hope my Valentine gets the same treatment. How do you get your warnings? Visual or audio? Does the placement of the detector on the right or left matter much?
Not thinking you are trolling but believe me when I say in my life "If it aint serving a function, it's gone" ......and no jokes about my 2 exes please.
