I just got my first pair of M'cycle boots in the past week or 2. They are Sidi sport rain boots. I ordered my size and thought about getting 1/2 size smaller but will just get nicer insoles instead. I paid $200.00 and they seem to be worth the $$, but again I have nothing to compare them to. I like a tight fitting boot, and that's a tough order given that most bike boots have no laces. These come close and are supposed to be at least water resistant, Webbikeworld says these boots past their "bucket test" as water proof. The Velcro over zipper closure system gives a good fit in the ankle/calf and are comfortable in the toe/box area, but the heel cup could be tighter for me (that's where I hope an insert will help). These are synthetic but get good reviews for comfort and longevity, time will tell.
