M10x1.5 RAM ball mount. Does it exist?
« on: April 19, 2015, 07:35:08 AM »
My used C14 came with 1.75" risers installed. Unknown make. It has an offset accessory mount bolt hole built in, which I would like to use for GPS, etc. Problem is that it appears to be M10, 1.5 pitch while my searches have yielded only M10 with 1.25 pitch. Is there an obvious solution that I'm missing?

Are you sure that it's an M10X1.5? It might be an 3/8-16.

The only risers w/mounts that I'm aware of is Helibars and KB's from Murphs. Both still available.

Thanks Pope & gPink. I hadn't thought of looking at the Helibar risers, but that is exactly what I have. They are indicating 3/8" x 16 thread pitch. Problem solved. :finger_fing11:

Or, the 2" risers from AST and then drill and tap your own holes for the RAM mount like I did
