I got a new HID kit for my 2013, am curious as to where you guys are putting the ballasts so they are secure and reasonably out of sight.

Pictures a plus

  • It's only really cold if you fall down in it.
    • C-14 farkles you almost cannot ride without.

I mounted mine on top of the rubber air intake tubes on each side. Just loosely tie- wrap them so they do not fall out; any significant pressure on the tie- wrap will cause the intake tubes to crush. Actually, my ballasts are stacked with my Power Commander, the ignitors for the HIDs and a couple of other things. The C-14 is tight on room....

Here's a nice write-up with pictures courtesy of A&R that has been posted elsewhere on the forum.  I did mine slightly different (on the left side, I velcro'ed the ballast to the outside of the fuseblock).
