Welcome.

Next, what has changed recently?  Anything?

Next, it SOUNDS like you have two ACTIVE fobs (implying gen 1), if that is the case, swap batteries in the two and then see what happens.

A brand new battery doesn't mean that it's a good battery. Do you have a multimeter? The new battery should read ~3.2 volts.

Replace the battery.   Or make sure the polarity is right.

Hence my suggestion to just swap the batteries :)

That's too easy and there isn't a cost involved.  It's also logical.  Spock would like it.

That's a good suggestion but that means he has to open up two fobs. Not that opening up the other fob is a big deal...

If he has a meter he can just test the suspect battery.

Youse guys gots a one- track mind: 'Replace the battery, replace the battery, replace the battery!'  Didn't you folks learn anything from the recent episode with Burbs?

But in this case, it might be best to replace the battery.  :rotflmao:  But first, check to make sure the battery is put in the right way, and that contacts are all.... contacting and clean.

Or replace the battery and be sure the contacts are clean.  :deadhorse:

He said he "picked up a new battery" but he never said he actually replaced it. Pay attention.  ;D

I sincerely hope not, Gary.  But that's the way it can be here.  We like to frolic with words and humor.  I know I do.  Nothing mean was said that I can see.  Members make fun of me and I'm still here.. :yikes:   I haven't slain anyone lately either, in fact not in a great while.  Sword's getting a bit rusty I fear.

And......and.....who was the other member we (collectively) ran off?

Meaning....? You will poke anything? Anyone? Please elaborate.  No, no, on second thought keep it to yourself. We don't want to know.  :-X

Remember, one cannot ruin a KiPass thread 'cause they are already sorta' ruined when the title line is typed in.  ;)
