Smoked front and rear turns. Are 1st gen and 2nd gen the same?

I am looking to purchase front and rear turn signals in a smoked color however I'm finding conflicting information.  Some say 08-10 only, others say 08+ are all the same.
What's the story?  Are the fronts and rears all the same or is the 2nd gen different from first.

If they fit a 10 they will fit a 13, same.

There is no difference in 2010-2013 (other than grab bar and wheel paint colors).  Yet there are lots of differences between gen 1 (2008-2009) and gen 2  (2010+).  So saying "08-10 only" makes no sense at all.

They probably created their ad in 2010 and just never updated it.

I put a set on my '10, but had some problems getting things to fit right.  Don't recall now what the issues were, but I think it was with the rear ones.  They did eventually go on, but not without a slight mod (as I recall, I had to swap the lens and use with my existing base).  Then again, when I bought them, the listing included C14 for one set (front?), but not the other.  For the other, the bikes they listed included bikes that also showed to be compatible with C14's in other listings, so I bought them based on that.

08+ are all the "same".  Ordered mine from http://stores.motolume.com/Categories.bok?category=Kawasaki+Turn+Signals&nval=79, which lists them as 08-12.
