Well, you guys certainly have more experience with sport-type bikes than I do. I often find myself exceeding the local speed limits very easily aboard the C14, and I don't really mean to. The Connie is relaxed at speed, especially compared to the Harleys I'm used to. I'm still breaking my bike in, so I haven't really explored the upper end of the tach.
Oh lord, the bike isn't even "alive" until it is over 4000RPM. You are in for a big surprise later

It seems more than enough for me the way it is. Everything about the Connie just screams performance to me, so I'm taking it a little at a time.
It is not a bad thing to take it easy and get comfortable with the bike.
Again, thanks for the welcome, and I'm working on those pics. I've learned a lot from you guys and this site so far.
