Very easy pad change. Took around twenty minutes, which included cutting and lighting the cigar that I was smoking while doing it. Don't forget to coat the retaining pin threads with anti-seize.

Did you try to bleed the left side caliper?

Just checked the stock ft brake pads on my 09  non abs with 16k and find out that  the inner pads on the right caliper and the outer pads on the left one are a lot more worn that the others

Didn't try that. I figure to wait until spring when I'll be changing out the brake/clutch fluids.

26K on mine, changed to EBC HH, hated them, very very noisy, switched back to stock Kawasaki, happy again.

I replaced all the pads 13.8K barely half worn. Was tired of the loud squeaking sound. When brakes lightly applied. Despite repeated cleanng of calipers, pads and rotors. Left front pad showed a high degree of scoring on the pad surface. Cause unknown. All rotor surfaces smooth and free of abrasion. No warping noted either. Replaced OEM pads with EBC HH sintered pads. I'm happy with the results.

I got 20k out of mine but they wore very unevenly. Watching the replacements very closely.
