The announcer on the old Batman TV series was William Dozier, he was also the producer of the show, his name shows up in the final credits, but as the producer.

Carolyn Jones showed up on todays show as "Marsha, The Diamond Queen", she played Morticia Adams on "The Adams Family".

The show was extremely popular in the 3 years it ran and many older film stars lined up to appear on it.

Ratings dipped in its third year and they brought in Yvonne Craig as Batgirl to try to jumpstart the ratings, it didn't work.

You all will be happy to know that my sister brought me 2 sheets of her "women's probiotic" capsules from home. Supposedly it also helps with vaginal flora. I took my first capsule at lunch. Looking forward to seeing what comes off of this.

DC, good bacteria is called good bacteria because it is good and not bad, they won't make you sick. Get some OTC pills for yourself. Or, just eat food with natural probiotics in it. Not all yogurt has probiotics. Avoid the artificial sweeteners in some. Read the labels.

I have a random question for you guys. Anyone have any experience with OTC probiotic capsules?

Recently I had to take a lengthy course of antibiotics due to a runaway tooth infection. I am over it now and was advised to take some probiotic pills for a few months! I have read that most of these don't do anything. Snake oil? Anyone with experience?

DC, a couple years ago my wife had C-dif, it can kill you.  She was very close to getting a fecal transplant before she found a different doctor.  He put her on vancomycin and told her to take Florastor probiotics.  There not cheap but he said they were the best.

Thanks Joe. Those are expensive too. I bought Align from CVS (not cheap either for 1mo of pills). I have credit on amazon so I should buy these next. Was told to take for 90 days.

That which you linked to are only Saccharomyces Boulardii, which is not technically a probiotic, it is a yeast.  But one that doesn't colonize (which is why it is safe), so it will be completely eliminated within a few days.  It is extremely helpful for some cases of diarrhea and/or vomiting, and I have used them successfully on cats.  It has a calming effect on the gut.  I don't think those would be the best choice for helping with repopulating good bacteria after they are wiped out by antibiotics.  Although they could be helpful in combination with an actual probiotic blend.

My other advice would be to pick one that contains multiple beneficial strains AND contains a prebiotic (which is a type of "food" for the bacteria, so they will better stick around).

These are what I would recommend (and use myself):  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09GLGC9DG
Again, not cheap, but also not bad for a 60 day supply of quality product with very high ratings.  As a maintenance thing, I usually take one only once every 2 to 4 days, so they last a long time.  I would take at least one a day (if not 1 every 12 hours) if recovering from a gut-wiping event, for at least a week, perhaps longer.

You guys certainly know a lot about a lot of things. Even the good types of colon bacteria!

Too many choices!

70's/80s Suburban either in dire need of a spray job, or else in full "rat" mode.  ;D
Needs a new windscreen either way.
What engine is in it?

'78. It's got a "recent" (75k miles) rebuilt 454, Hughes TH350, and 3.40ish gears. The bare metal has been clear coated so that's just the way it looks. The wife says it's growing on her. So I might be okay until I give it a full paint job. I'm thinking white with gray interior. It'll get a new windshield after the drag races in a couple weeks.

I could use one of those where I live.  People would not be so eager to cut in front of me in merge lanes..

Good lookin '79.

I'm hoping to get into the 12s, and maybe even super high 11s with nitrous.

It ran better than I had dared hope. That car works better than it has any right to. Factory 1978 suspension. Everything is the same except for factory replacement bushings and ball joints. Alignment was done with greased pizza pans and a tape measure. Old school slapper bars and GOBS of hand-me-down parts.
