Instead of trying to make the Connie into a Wing, why not just buy a Wing...
Had a Wing... now own a C14. Not looking for a Throne on he back, just looking for something to keep the Munchkin on the back.Just having a trunk of the back was enough for my daughter's peace of mind. A more comfortable seat was the only other change I needed to make for her.

OTOH, my had never got in the habit of leaning back against a backrest or trunk.
Ok, I give up. What in the world are those handles on the bags for?
Are they Jesus Christ handles for the passenger?
Thanks MG, that's what I thought. Jesus Christ handles.
Why do I call them Jesus Christ handles you ask?
Picture this, I'm riding two up with my wife and I go into a corner hot (she hates this). As she grabs on to something all I hear in the intercom is 'JESUS CHRIST, SLOW THIS DAMN THING DOWN'.

... or attach to the handrails. The PLASTIC handrails?
Followed by a massive blow to the back of your helment when you do slow it down and are in the straight aways!
The PLASTIC handrails?
I'm not sure I'd trust a life to plastic handrails, attached with bolts into plastic threads. YMMV
