It's too freaky deaky hot here to ride.  Will be riding in the morning.  My English genes are having a conniption fit at the moment.  Don't like this heat at all here in the Mid-Atlantic.  Hopefully it will go away tomorrow night.  Russell seat with the cloth option, BTW.

My wife really likes the Corbin. No sliding forward and she sits up higher so that she is not just looking at the back of my helmet.

Ug- I decided today was the day to ride to Richmond.  I must have been insane.  108F!  (Not the whole way, just more and more heat the closer I got)  That was not fun at all.  The Concours really does not do well in the heat with the stock windshield.

Went out today, sans wifey.  She wanted to take the Prius to town and have ac.  I can say that the with the G2 throttle tamer, heat shielding under the seat, ball room jeans, Tilley underwear, assorted lotions, and a camel back it was tolerable riding in the Northern Neck on back roads.

Was out a couple of hours at least.  The seat shielding was a big help as were the jeans.  I'm doing a longer ride this Wed. (about 7 hours) and another one this Fri/Sat.

You may want to consider an airhawk that goes over the seat. I have a Corbin that I like, but the airhawk made it literally all day comfortable.

Its going to be 90+ tomorrow and while I know that's not as hot as others experience, my preference is to get up at 5am, ride 200 miles and be back by 10:30am.....cool temps, no traffic and I just need to on the look out for Venison Steaks.

Brian & I both have airhawks on top of a Corbin seat and have been using them for a bunch of years now...probably 60k miles worth.  To much sliding forward on the stock....bought a Russell and couldn't get it quite right, and the corbin is SOOOO hard, we must keep the airhawks on.  We have found they work wonderful, but you MUST mess around with the amount of air you put in them...once you get it right, you'll never go without them!
