My Angels are almost worn out and I am going back to PR2's.  The best price I have found so far is $285 from JakeWilson, I have checked BikeBandit and MotorcycleSuperstore and they are both about $10 higher.  Anyone know of a sale that is running currently?  my dealer price matches tires so I will probably go that route but I am a cheapskate and love to get the most bang for my buck (hence the C14).  I know, I know..........another tire thread. No comparisons about tires, I just want to know who has the best price on PR2's.  Thanks.

I just wish I lived in the NC/TN area so that I could get the great price on tires and mounting that you offer at your shop. I will be price matching through my dealer so I am just trying to find the best price, and as usual it is through JW.

I forgot to mention in the original post that the price listed ($285) was with a 190/55 which is usually about $10 more than the 190/50.

I can use my tier score to get the price down a bit. I have been spending just ove 10,000.00 per year with JakeWilson.com.
Sometimes it works out to buy a lot of tires...

We don't have a shop in Murphy which will work on Metric bikes. Bunch of HD loving _________!
So I do what I can to help out my fellow riders.
People tell me I should open a shop, but there is just no money in it and way too many hours.
I think I will keep my current job and do the MC work as a hobby.

Besides, when I tell an HD owner that he owes me twenty dollars for changing both of his tires... He no longer gives business to the HD shops in town.
They are getting 60.00 per wheel and people are paying it all day.
I talked to a guy who paid 650.00 for a tire change that I could have done for 230.00 out the door.

Try this site:  http://www.discount-motorcycletires.com/inc/sdetail/72/212

I have gotten good results from them.  They have free shipping and ship fast.  I live in California and got the tires in two days.  I think that they were drop shipped from someplace closer.

I called and ordered my tires today.  I used the $286 from Jake Wilson and had my dealer price match them.  They use Competition Accessories ( http://www.compacc.com ) to order tires, and were very cool about the price match offer.  They do have a sign posted in the parts department that says they will match prices from the internet for tires and some parts.  I just wish the dealer two minutes down the road from me would see that price matching brings in more customers (they want over $450 for the same deal I am getting from Stahlman's!  :yikes: ).  The best thing is the fact that when I buy my tires from the dealer they will cut me some slack on mounting and balancing ($15 per tire instead of $25 when you bring your own tires).  Total out the door after tax will be $332.  Pretty good deal if you ask me.  If you are ever around Rolla, MO check out Stahlman Motorsports, they will treat you right.

Yea, I just got lit up to the tune of $450 for my two tires with installation, but I had no choice. Nail in the rear tire a few days away from a trip planned nearly a year prior, no time to order 'em in. Had to eat the extra cost for the sake of a timely tire change. Oh well.

Lots of suggestions but still no cigar.  Jake Wilson is pretty tough to beat on tire prices, especially when you consider all the reward cash that is built up.
