It is your tire, your bike and your life, so do what you think is best. Cost being no object, it is better to replace the tire. Depending on the location, size and shape of the puncture, I would be inclined to trust a rope plug repair. We have had forum members ride plugged tires for many miles in varying conditions w/o issues. IIRC, one or two tried pulling the plugs out from the inside and the end of the tire life (w/ ViseGrips) and were unable to do so. Once it sets up fully in a day or two, a proper rope plug seems to be a "permanent" repair.
As noted above, if you post your location, you probably can find someone willing to take the old tire off your hand.
