I have several magnets mounted below the bike. One didn't seem to be enough for me to trip the lights. You need a custom license plate frame to go with all those magnets....

That kind of magnet attracts troubles I don't need...
I wonder if those things really work......like deer whistles.Hey Mike,
That kind of magnet attracts troubles I don't need..................and she said(her beautiful eyes reflecting in shades of color I can't imagine): Oh Jimmy! You're breaking my heart.I'm no trouble at all. I'm just an ordinary girl looking for some fun. Please, take me for a spin on your beautiful bike...

Jim didn't need any more convincing.....
In Jim's defense, how could one refuse those eyes and pouty lips?My point, exactly!
I don't know if the ones they sell for traffic lights are powerful enough.
A 1X2X1/8" neodymium magnet does work. Just watch your fingers when you slap it on the frame, they are very strong. It creates a magnetic field equal to all the iron you have in your car so the sensor will detect the bike. If you have an old VCR, you can find one under the main drive motor. It should be large enough.
So could that create a new problem, like sucking nails and manhole covers up to the bottom of your bike?
