Interesting. Love the duals, not to sure about the mufflers. What are they?

Oh, and what kind of tires are those?

It's a 2007 zx-14 compete system. Sounds like a sport bike but still quite.

The tires are Dunlop d616. So far they are holding up well.

Do you ride many gravel roads?  Those are the most "knobby" looking sportbike tires I have ever seen.  It looks like they would have close to 10 mm of tread depth when new.  The Ulysses crowd sure seems to love them.  Seems like that tire would be a good candidate for a trip to Alaska.

It IS a sport bike tire per the Dunlop website, not in their sport touring line. Looks very "dual sport" rather than "sportbike" to me, so must be a rainy weather sport tire.

Is that tire sticky on the sides?

Ok, this was supposed to be a look at my dual exhaust thread but has turned into a tire thread instead. Ask me what kind of oil I use and we can really get the ball rolling :P

Dunlop classifies these as spotbike tires but they come as original equipment on the Buell Ulysses. I used to own a Buell and that's where I got hooked on them. They perform as well as pure sport tires (sticky sides as Steve says) and can handle the occasional fire road. They are much cheaper than most sport or sport-touring tires as well.

Looks like a tire I had on my Uly. I think they came stock on the XB12X. I did not much like them.

Like it!!!

I am an unrepentant lover of symmetry :). I would love to see a dual shock touring machine that could come even close to a mono setup.

Nice dual set-up.  Are there any issues with the centerstand clearance or operation?

I hate to break into the love session, but I've always thought there is nothing that sounds better and looks cooler than a 4 into 1 system on a bike.  So there, hate on me.  Your adaptation is very well done, don't get me wrong, but I for one, prefer the single can system.
