Found a good deal on good oil

Last night I was at AutoZone in Anoka, MN and they had a sale of 4 quarts of Mobil 1 4T Oils (10w-40 or 20w-50) and a filter for $34 or $36. Limit 2 oil change kits per purchase (you could come back the next day and get 2 more).

They run it on sale for 7.99 a qt quite a bit.

I believe Mobile 1 for the filter.

Not sure if all the AutoZone's are running the special, but thought maybe someone could benefit from me posting about it.

Nice find!  That pretty well puts it on par with Rotella, cost-wise.

They also frequently have promotions listed on their website.  Last time I changed my oil they had a $10 off coupon if you bought 4 or 5 quarts at Autozone.  Nothing good at the moment though unless you go the mail-in route.

Read the fine print on the mobil one rebates.  They are pretty strict about what retailer you purchase from.

I've found the best bet is to get on the Advance Auto mailing list and pick it up when it's 7.99 combined with the coupons they send out ($10 off $50) and the like.

i just bought some of that oil on monday at regular price, that sucks, that is the one in the corner of main and ferry right.

That's the way to go! A couple of years ago they had a special like this going and a BUNCH of us on this forum bought multiple cases of the stuff. I still have 2 or 3 cases left. I think that we paid something like $5.99/bottle w/free shipping.

I got in on the deal here in Alabama. Here the autozone was pushing fram oil filter with the 4t Mobil oil. They didn't have the fram so they gave me a 303 k&n oil filter instead no additional cost.
They also have Mobil syn gear oil 75-90 for 6.99.

scored 4 of these for 16 quarts, best part was that they returned the fram filters at the same time. it was their idea and said they could. the result was 8qts under $60 out the door X2. should get me through the summer pounding the Wisconsin alphabet. (now if i can find a tire deal for this rubber eater. lol)
