Today on Easter Sunday I was 200 miles from home when I found the belts showing through my PR2 rear tire. It was holding pressure but I was not feeling that that lucky.
Once I rode 500 miles with the cords showing -- didn't want to, but also didn't want to get my "head knocked off" by buying a tire from an unknown dealer. I figured if I had to buy a tire on the road, it might as well be totally ruined. I did watch the the TPMS for any changes in pressure....
Not saying it was smart -- just saying.....
