And your still riding on the stock seat??  :( Well I guess you haven't had much seat time since most of your time is used up putting on stuff!!.  ;D  Have fun, you will have plenty of time to ride once you get all the STUFF on it

I don't have any issues with the stock seat, but then again I only have 450 miles on the bike. I may rethink this after my first long ride this summer.

+1, I have 15K on the stock seat. I do day rides, 100-300 miles and the seat works just fine. I have an Alaskan Seat Pad which I use on occasion. Probably would add a new seat if I routinely did 500 miles rides - then the question becomes which one?

Also think it is better to add some farkles after you have had the bike for a while, so the love affair can start all over again.

Ride On!

Are the Buell pegs rubberized like the Yamaha's? I've been debating putting on a pair of Larry's passenger peg extenders with the FJR peg

You're going to hear a snappy tune on the radio soon and be singing along.

No, no, no C, bad advice.  Everything is economy and safety related.  How ever could the little lady oppose something that keeps her hugabear safe and financially secure?
