Got my new girl home!
« on: March 24, 2012, 07:01:42 AM »
She joins my Z1000 in the stable! We needed something with a bit more room for two up long hauls.  plus the Z1000 has ~130K miles on her so she has earned her active retirement role.

Without further adieu

So far loving her,  even within the break in period has plenty of go! windshield i might add two inches to.  I'm 6'1 and when i duck under the fully raised shield its silent and warm.  so for next winter i might consider.    I also might need to lower the stock pegs a bit... my feet need to rest off the side of the brake and shifter.  But all in all we are super excited to get the bike!

Ugh,  already took a hit to the radiator in the first 100 miles.   Not bad but signals the need for protection.  i'm thinking the project D fender extender and make my own guard
