The only way to get rid of the buffetting on the C-14 is to get the tallest windshield available which I think is the Cee-Bailey Ultra. I accept the buffeting as one the costs of riding a motorcycle and I prefer the V-stream over the CB.
That's sort of a primitive way to get rid of buffeting. My cal sci has no buffetting and I attribute that to the large cut out i the front. This is also noticeable by the large reduction in noise. With stock shield (I have an '11) I could not hear the blue tooth in my Oneal helmet above 55mph (main reason why I got the shield) , now with the Cal Sci, I can easily hear my music without turning the volume up.
Also, the shield is solid, actually appears to be slightly thicker than oem.
