OK, I finally pulled the trigger!
« on: February 21, 2012, 08:07:11 PM »
Hi all,

Joined the forum about 7 months ago, but finally committed to a 2012 Connie today!  Went with black...although they had the new reddish color on the showroom floor, it's too close to the black-cherry color of my Royal Star Venture.

I'm so excited - not sure how long it will take to do the build but hopefully tomorrow I will pick her up!

Looking forward to getting to know some new friends riding the Concours!

Welcome to the forum and congrats! Unfortunately, gremlins are powerless against Ki-Pass, so no bells needed :).

I guess he did not know the red one is faster.

It seems obvious that the silver will toast the red if only because the riders in red are so busy looking at their bike that they do not see the faster riders going by on silver bikes---looking at the road ahead instead of at the pretty red gas tank! ;D

Almost a month into it now...about 675 miles or so...and very very very very happy with my C14!

I've spent a bunch of money already....Coocase V37, Accent lights (Green LED's 14 pods), Wolo Horn, light bulbs, sliders... but it's fun doing the work myself. I'm waiting for the DVD to arrive to do the under-fairing stuff - I want to see it done so I don't break the tabs...so this weekend a lot of wrenching will happen.  :)

Yep, happy happy.
