This one was advertised as the fastest model.. Seems like the best bang for the buck, anyone else have one?

That is not a bad helmet at all for the price. Shoei has a new modular but it is a great deal more expensive.

Nice but it is a lot of $ I ordered 3 of the N90 for less than two of those would have cost me. One for the wife, the little girl and me. Seemed to be a very impressive product for the price.

Ordered it last Sun and it arrived this last Friday. It is replacing a HJC CL-Max that I brought in 06.

Determined the size I needed while trying on helmets at the Motorcycle show last weekend in Chicago.

Now I need to install the Autocom Headset.

This is my second Nolan helmet.

Had an N102 and liked it but it put too much pressure on my forehead. My head wasn't round enough. I was bummed.

The new N104 changed the shape to accommodate a wider range.

Over the years I've has a few head buckets, and was always on the hunt for a new one. I've tried many different full face and 3/4's; but now I'm a Bell guy, and have 3 of them. Best "Bang for your Buck" Helmet I've ever owned. The Bell Revolver replaced my Nolan. This past holiday season it was on sale for $99.99 I couldn't pass it up, and she feels great. Anyway the N90 is a great choice. Wear it in great health.

I am not a fan of modular helmets. They are much heavier than non-modular, and more complex. Many believe they are also less safe because the latch can fail and the increased weight creates more inertia to have to disperse. I, personally, don't really see that much advantage to having a modular function. It is not safe to ride with it "open", and if you are not riding and want nothing across your face, just take off the helmet!

If everyone was the same with the same needs they would only make one helmet. That is obviously not the case. Those who wear glasses and headphones riding know why they like modular helmets. It is also nice to open the helmet up at stop lights or to talk to your buddy.

Modulars are also 'almost' mandatory for getting on a military base with an ID check, or you have to take off your helmet.

Good points. Might also be nice at lights when it is really hot outside. Although I don't see the advantage with earphones, since I think those would be just as blocked.

my Nolan 104 is one of the least comfortable helmets I've ever had.......problem is, I can't get rid of it cuz it's got the best blue tooth audio goin! ........thinkin bout having my head surgically altered to accomodate the lousy thing.....

Allot easier to get helmet on and off and adjust ear buds. IMHO

Is it too tight on the forehead? I understand it was changed to a more round oval vs round. Maybe you can try a ball peen hammer on the forehead spot to give you some relief.

That new Shoei NeoTec looks pretty sweet. The review on Revzilla is worth watching and they discuss the weight and latching pretty well. I'd like to try one on to see how it fits. Not all Shoei's are the same fitment.

My RF1100 fits perfectly, but the Qwest isn't oval enough for me and presses against my forehead. (It's a shame too because I really like the looks of the Overt version.)
