Flush Mount Signals....smoke
« on: February 04, 2012, 12:10:11 PM »
I thought you guys might like to see these.  I searched and was nto able to find any pics of thsi mod.  These are the ebay  "flush mount euro" signals that sell for @ 50.00.

Installation is perfect for a Utah winter. This means you ca do it at 20 degrees without freezing to death.  The assembly is very well made and accepts the stock blub and socket assy.  The lens is furnished with a bulb and socket, btu ti did not match my oem wiring so I'll save the bulbs for a spare.  Overall, I'm happy with how it turned out.  Visibility is as good as it was, so I'm not sure why these were not on the bikes when we bought them.  They do carry the European certification label, but not DOT markings. The fit is great, so I dont expect issues at registration time.

Looks good.  Your bike is spotless, I'm sure my bike wouldn't even be allowed in your garage.   ;D
Keeping the economy going, one tank of fuel and two tires at a time.

ZG, the rear signals look great. I think I'll do those as well. Did you replace the entire assembly, or is it lenses only for the back.  I see both options.

The ones I went with were the lenses only, they match the front perfect. Tuff to see it in the pics but in person it really makes a difference.  8)

FYI, the rear blinker lenses are the same for the ZX14, so if you search by that you'll find more options, happy hunting!  ;D

What makes it worse is that you seem to have an unlimited budget and that just adds additional pressure on the rest of us.

Yes, you are a bad influence.....plus, I think there is a rule that says you cannot have a smoked turnsignal lens next to a clear brakelight.  If not, there should be!

The rear lenses arrived today.  Far easier to install than the front signals.  One screw and the cover pops off.
