I can't imagine a big enough demand for those to justify a production run.

What are the benefits of a floorboard over a footpeg?

Not exactly floorboards but Murph sells some lower, wider front pegs

http://www.murphskits.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=130_133&products_id=401

Pretty comfy too.  If you pull ride with your toes on the pegs in the twisties, ground clearance doesn't suffer much.

There was a thread on passenger floorboards, but not rider. Why would you want rider boards?

Got the right thread this time!

My plantar fascia would be most happy if I could spread a bit of pressure around. Just a functional alternative to getting off the bike when it is sore from pressure right in the arch.

Room for a Hardley-Ableson emblem, plus the benefit of hard parts scraping in turns much MUCH sooner  ;D

Understood. Had that myself, had to give up running for a few years.

Not having that I am not sure, but how about a stiff riding boot? Steel shank?

I could see doing this, if I couldnt afford another bike, and if I spent the majority of my time doing long slab runs.  Some day I will own a tricked out Wing, it will have running boards for both the misses and myself.  It will also have a pair of cup holders to compliment the capucino machine ;D

Ouch! I had that myself in my left foot. That stuff hurts! Got me an injection and gave up running too. No problems now.

I put passenger boards on that could easily be usex as rider boards.   look at my posts and you will see the info and part numbers.   They are Kuryakyn Iso boards and Kury makes peg adapters that are direct fitting for the rider peg.  would cost apx 120.00 and serve your needs well.
