Auto Tune help needed
« on: December 11, 2011, 06:33:52 PM »
I have everything wired up and I think all the settings are correct in the software, but for some reason when I start my bike up there is no A/F ratio showing on the screen.  I have a red LED lit up on the Auto Tune and everything else seems to be ok.  I plan on pulling the O2 sensor tomorrow to test it and make sure that isn't the problem.  That will really tick me off since DynaJet states in the manual that the O2 sensor has zero warranty.    Any other suggestions?

You have to put the rubber plug in the open port to make it work.

I also posted this in your other thread.

The plug from the Auto Tune to the PCV or the empty port on the Auto Tune needs to be plugged?

Worked like a charm.  I forgot to plug that open port and I even wondered the other day why they included two extra four pin, black plugs. All is good now, thanks.

Glad to help. The instructions don't cover that very well.

I just had the instructions from their website, I didn't have any paperwork included in my box.

Did you get a map yet?

I have one from another board member that is full exhaust, flies out and a bmc. It is supposed to be an economy type map per the owner.

I would sure try it out.  I have my A/F table set for economy right now and was planning on using the AutoTune to trim an economy map but I will try what you have and see how it works.

Jeremy, It's my understanding that if you have a switch and it's activated in the software it will only switch from learn(autotune) to run(existing map on PCV). You can store two maps on the PCV but you will have to deactivate the autotune to be able to switch between maps. In order to create an economy map you will have to manually(in the software)change the cells you want to lean or enrichen.

Good to know, I thought the PCV would only hold one map.  I still have a lot of learning to do with this high tech electronic gizmo.
