I managed to scrape up against a car today while lane sharing. Oops!! No damage to me, the bike, or the car. This is a very wide bike. Are there any slimmer side bags available?
I am definately more limited in lane splitting options than I have been on any other bike. These mirrors are freakin wider than a Gold Wing's.
It's still doable though.
Yer all pussies. I lanesplit for 40 miles every day for nearly 17 months.
Yes she's wide but well balanced and easy to manouever.
Easier to lanesplit than the C10 but leave the sidebags at home.
Fit a trunk if yer gonna lanesplit regularly.
My mirrors are a little scarred and scraped but never broke one.

Never Lane Split in NJ or PA. It's against the law, and people around here aren't very good drivers, so I sit in traffic taking up my space. The Concours takes up the same space in stop and go traffic as a Toyota Yaris!
Keep in mind that Boomer lives in the UK where it is legal and normal to lane split and filter... IMHO it is completely different when the cagers expect the bikes to lane split and everyone, cagers and riders alike, are brought up with it from day one of driving/riding.
