Here are a couple pics of the almost finished product (still waiting on Area P, powdercoat, and sending my forks to Ohlins)

I like how it turned out. I am still thinking about doing the front fender to match. Tell me what you think whether good, bad, or indifferent. It has been raining outside for the past couple days, hence the crappy garage pics.

I think I would do the front fender to balance out the two tone colors. Looks good Jeremy.

The color combo makes that bags look bigger now. I guess it's because they stand out more. Looks good though.

I wonder how many other parts would look good with the bed liner coating on them? You should play with some coloring software, and see what else might benefit from some of that stuff. I think Maxtog did some of that for ZG awhile back with Kawi Green.

Also, Mythbusters did a piece on how applying bed liner to things made them nearly indestructible. Not saying you need that for your bike, but given recent history, it couldn't hurt.

That thread with the green photochopped bike also had a neutron grey bike with some blacked out panels.

Paint the front fender, and the panels just in front of the bags too. The ones behind your chins.

I agree with the fender and the small side panels. Should bring the scheme together nicely.

Hate to be the only guy that doesn't like it but it just doesn't look quite right to me. I think the grab rails need to be shot black and something else to tie it all together (not sure if thats the front fender) because like mentioned before those bags really stand out now!!

Maybe if you followed the line of the fairing where it meets the lower end of the gas tank (since its a black panel below it and a smooth line) and blacked out the bottom part of the tank and the rest of the silver plastic below it running towards the back of the bike I think it would do the trick.

Actually, I said it already in the other thread.... I think you should make the front fender black also. I am not sure why, but in the mock-ups it tied it together somehow so the bags didn't stand out as much. The major black areas on your bike are center (seat) and rear (bags), but there is nothing black on the front.

I am going to paint the fender to tie in everything on the lower half of the bike. I had already planned to paint the grab handles black, just haven't gotten to it yet. I was waiting to decide what I am going to do with the GIVI mount, I am thinking about getting a Phils rack to clean up the back end since I took the stock mudflap off.

Nope, I like the neutron grey. If I paint it all black it will look like every other black bike, and I would feel obligated to keep it clean.

With a fully sprayed bed liner you could clean it with a brillo soap pad!
