Well for the budding "cold" season in Central Texas I have purchased two, in my opinion, great apparel items from motorcyclegear.com. Great business and I have used them for several apparel items in the past. The Speed and Strength jacket is on closeout for amazing $154. Second are Tour Master fleece liners for my motorcycle gloves.
I bought the high-vis yellow, and the Large fits my 6'1" frame great. Has plenty of beneficial features that make it comfortable in the 85 degree heat last week, and the balmy 40 degree cold this morning (no jokes from you Northerners). Has removeable zip in waterproof liner and a seperate zip in cold weather liner that all fit in together. Bonus: you can wear the liner like a wind breaker without the riding jacket. For warmer riding, you can remove the outer textile shell of the sleeves, leaving mesh sleeves and the padding for protection. Functional and tested. Probably will limit this jacket to 90 degree and below.
L/ XL liners fit snuggly and well under my normal riding gloves, although calling them XL is a bit of a joke. Did not feel like my circulation was being cut off. This morning's cold did not impact my feel at all. I cannot imagine heated grips at this point, and I do not use "wings".
Just wanted to give my two cents if any of you are in the market. And no I do not work for the business.
