I'll be ordering that once I get confirmation that it'll fit.  I'm not rich enough to be the guinea pig.   I have both a stock '09 screen and a CalSci large and would like to know if it fits both.

I ordered the CB ultra tour and am waiting for it to arrive, but thought it would be nice to get this for different options with the stock shield or maybe even on the ultra tour also!  Would like to hear feedback though...

I installed one of the drill and fasten types this weekend on a medium height Calsci shield.

When the spoiler is up it pushes the air up a few inches higher without adding the same in shield height.

The medum height shield is just fine for me alone, but I'm trying to give my pillion rider better coverage without going to a taller windshield, which I couldn't see over when fully raised.

She has not been on the bike yet with the change, but it will be better than the MRA windshield which is 08/09 stock height, so she whould be a happy camper for a trip to Arkansas next week.

I did install the spoiler lower than the install instruction indicated by about 20mm.  I installed it at the same height as the MRA Vario Touring Screen spoilers location which makes the spoiler level with the top of the windscreen when down.  I like how that looks and it seems to work on the MRA shield.

Any news from anyone on this one? Clamp-on MRA.

I've got the stock '09 and want to mount on that.
What about the MRA that mounts with screws, will that fit on a stock windshield?
Thanks for any intel.

Yep. I just installed it about a week ago. I had the same complaint that someone else was having about the NC V-stream It's much better than the stock shield (the tall option for my '09), but with my torso length and my 2" risers, my head was just into the airstream and I was getting significant buffeting at highway speeds. Installed the MRA clamp-on and problem is gone. I can ride at highway speed with my shield open and it's still quiet. I'll add a few observations:

--The disclaimer is that it will fit "most" windscreens, but it is pretty adjustable. Unless you have a shield with a really radical top contour, I can't imagine that it wouldn't fit.

--The instructions that come with it are challenging. You have to simultaneously refer to the instructions sheet, and two different parts lists. Everything goes together pretty logically, but you start out with a LOT of little parts.

--The clamps are not small. They are very noticeable in your field of view.

--The spoiler is very adjustable in both height and angle.

--In a heavy headwind, the screen is even more flappy than normal (which is already pretty flappy). I do worry about how much stress I'm putting on windscreen brackets and such (the Kawi, stuff that is--the MRA stuff is solid).

--With this kit, you actually get everything you need for either the clamp-on or the drill and bolt installation. If you try the clamp-on and don't like it, you already have all the parts (including the drill stencil)  to convert it to the drill and bolt-on if you want.

Damnit, now I have to get one!   Seriously, though...Thanks man...this is great news.  I feel like a Bobbel head sometimes I get buffeted so badly.

Does it make the ride quieter?

Much quieter! That was my main complaint--I was just in the buffet zone and the noise was annoying. If quiet is what you want, then you won't be disappointed. As adjustable as it is, you can add 5 or 6 inches to your screen height if you want.

Also, let me be a little more specific in regards to fitment. If your screen has any kind of curved lip at the top (where there is curvature in the top 3-4" of the screen) then you probably won't be able to use the clamp-on kit. It will fit no problem on the stock screen or the V-Stream.

After installing the MRA Vario shield with spoiler two years ago, I haven't looked back. I tried the Kawasaki tall and the Cee Bailey Euro cut but had problems with behind helmet buffeting and was a little concerned about the adjustment mechanism holding all that weight. This shield provides a clean, quiet airflow just above my helmet and that's adjusted only mid-way up. I'm 6'2" and thought at first that the taller screens would work  better with wind management but I was wrong. MRA also has two ducts cut into the screen that also helps maintain a clean airflow up and over the rider which make it my all-season shield for now.

So got my MRA xcreen today and installed on a 2009 stock windshield...felt like I was playin' with Legos again (I love Legos) putting it together (the hinges and what not) but here's the final product.  Not sure of the best positioning yet...I'll be experimenting with that starting tomorrow.  Air Bakers uppers and lowers get mounted next.  Oh and Throttle Tamer.

Will,
That looks good. Let me know how it works out. Thinking about the throttle tamer also. Getting tired or trying to keep the throttle in check.

Glad to repot that with it in the all the way up position as well as four inches shifted downward... no buffeting and nice and quite ride. For the first time I could cleanly hear my engine at 75 Mph.  Super pleased with this screen.

Caveat... Did notice that my stocker kinda wiggles from the turbulence. Everything is snug. Assuming this is normal?

I've got a Laminar Lip on mine, and I must say it works great. For $84 its a great option over buying a whole new windshield.

I love mine too. Very quiet now.

It was given to me by an ex FJR rider that never used it. It works with the Connie shield just fine.
It may look a little goofy, but it works so well I don't mind one bit.

Super pleased with this screen.

Where did you order yours?  I need to look back and remember where I was looking at them.
