Droid GPS apps
« on: September 26, 2011, 10:29:40 AM »
Just thought i would take a chance on here to see if anyone knows of any good ones. I will be heading to the dragon this week and want to make sure I have a GPS app that memorizes the maps since cell phone coverage isnt the best up there. Let me know if anyone has any tips?

Is this Tyler from the 109 board or are there two guys looking for the exact same info?  If so, I sent you a reply on the 109 board.

MyTracks.   It's a free Google app for Android only.  It tracks where you've been, altitude and all the good stuff.  I don't think it tells you where you are going, I have an iPhone.  My mates with Android use MyTracks all the time and love it.  It can be linked to your Google Maps account.
