One of the first things I did when I got my bike.
My bike was maybe 2 days old when I took those horrid looking Kawa letters off the bike. I think the lettering looks better on the '10-'11 bikes compared to my '09, but I still would prefer the clean look. I just used a hair dryer to heat them up a little and then pulled them off with my fingers/fingernails. Used some rubbing alcohol to remove the leftover adhesive afterwards.
Way better w/out, than with.
Not as garrish as the fairing logo.
I can understand that. Here is mine in current trim. I have been debating removing the stickers and letters for a while now.

I tried a couple of things to remove the adhesive. The thing I found that worked the best is this stuff called "Goo Gone"http://www.googone.com/Mark
