V-Stream Windscreen
« on: September 15, 2011, 05:27:11 PM »
Just got done installing the National Cycle "V-Stream" windscreen on my 2010. I didn't realize just how big the stocker was; it's huge.
The V-Stream has a different profile and is somewhat larger than stock. I'll get some riding in tomorrow morning on the way to work to see if it's all they, (National Cycle), claim.
Kudos to PowersportParts.net for a decent price, 134.99 w/free shipping, and really quick delivery. I ordered it on Tuesday night and it was delivered today.

I have/had V-Streams on 3 different bikes now.  I have been happy with each of them.  The one on my C14 also works much better than the stock shield. I like it and think you will also.

i ordered a vstream last fall for what i thought was going to be a cold wet trip to the white mountains.  turned out the way i thought and i really appreciated the protection of the shield.  my intention was to take it off late spring and replace with the stocker for the fall /winter. well it is still on and has worked well even on very hot days.  the only thing i do not like is the slight vibration of the plastic but still would not swap it.

So far,so good. Pretty much works as advertised. Adjusting it up a couple of inches puts the air right over top of the helmet. Very quiet riding.
