Projekt D slider question - protects saddlebag?
« on: June 28, 2011, 12:22:13 PM »
I am sure that this was discussed on the old site, but does any one know (hopefully not by first hand knowledge) if the Projekt D sliders protect the saddlebags as well.  In looking at the design, I would say no in most cases.  I know each drop/side is different and depending what the road/parking lot is like, so no slider can protect against every case, but I was curious.  They are ugly though.

I am looking at ProjektD sliders myself. Thinking of grabbing some when money permits. But it does not appear to me they protect the saddle bags. I am thinking of picking up some MC Enterprise rear guards for that.
The Kawasaki guards looks much better, but $$$$$ and appears hard to get.
