Where do you buy your body parts?
« on: November 21, 2015, 05:51:20 PM »
Sort of an accessory question or maybe a stock modification  :)

I layed down the 2009 black Concours today and find myself in need of some body parts.  Left lower, mid and upper fairing as well as mirror and left bag.  Anybody have a reputable, decent price, source that they have used?

Thanks in advance!

This isn't at all what I expected..normally I just farm them out from my slayings.

If you're talking Kwackers, I get my stuff from Ron Ayers usually, but there are others around.  Don't forget, that for body panels, none of the 'attached' bits come with them.  You have to either order them all separately or transfer what you have installed already.

From the title of this thread I KNEW that someone would post something funny. Well done Jim!

Also take a look at the for sale section here, http://www.zggtr.org/index.php?board=7.0

There's normally body parts (mostly MC parts though  ;) ) listed for sale there.

:rotflmao:   You know, I kill myself sometimes.  However!  You cannot have any of the body parts.

At first look at the title of this thread, I was sure it was in The Arena. I was expecting some Planned Parenthood comments, but I guess not.

Thanks for the info and ideas.  In the end, they called it totaled.  Unbelievable, appears all cosmetic.  However, the small amount of road rash on the swing arm and forks made them want to replace them both.

The good news is their cash value was good and the biggest surprise is they paid dollar for dollar on all aftermarket parts.

Time to decide what to replace the 2009 Concours with :). Lots of nice stuff out there.
