Moving the driver pegs forward

So i would like to move the driver rear sets forward a few inches. Maybe only an inch down but more forward than anything else.

Ive seen adjustable footpegs before but if you move them footpegs up too much than you wont be able to use the brake and clutch shifter. And yes, i am aware of the highway pegs which i plan on getting but im looking to move the shifting and braking up a bit also.

So i have an idea to maybe make some plates to mount in place of the stock rear sets and use some vortex rear sets maybe off of a zx-14 and flip around the mounting plate from the vortex rear sets so they could be mounted more forward instead of back and  down like its originally designed. 

Anyone have any experience with this subject? I was able to flip the  vortex brackets on my 06 zx10 which allowed me to move the rear sets down a bit which really helped and gave me the idea for the concours. Another thing to consider is that the vortex pegs are much slimmer and shorter than the stock pegs so they can be lower more without worrying about scraping.

Some have installed highway pegs and some others have installed lower pegs, but no one has moved the mounting plates or installed aftermarket rearsets as far as I know.

I like where mine are, but if I were considering moving them, I would see if I could machine a new mounting plate that pushes the entire rear sets forward a little.

I haven't seen/heard of that either... so it is a pretty unique/new question.

Yea i think that would definitely be the cheapest route because rear sets are like $300 a set on the cheap end. Also, maybe just adding a shorter and lower profile aftermarket peg to the stock rear sets after i push them forward might give me back some ground clearance that i will probably loose

The left (shifter side) would not be a big deal but the right side may be an issue. If your bike has ABS, GOOD LUCK. Moving the hard lines will be a pain.

Anything is possible. It's not a question of what can be done, it's a question of what canbe done COST EFFECTIVELY. There are thousands of shops, coast to coast, capable of doing the job. Finding one to do the work within your budget is an entirely different issue.

Like many things in life, it comes down to one question. Is the juice worth the squeeze?

Another thought,  does anyone sell longer brake and clutch  pedals?  I know i can get the adjustable footpegs
