I never use the luggage rack, always ride solo, and would be really interested to see the taillight for my 08 be incorporated into the tail piece, right below the original mounting place. could eliminate the luggage rack and passenger handles for a really clean look
wondering if an alternative could be to replace complete tailpiece with one from a zx14 which already has the taillight incorporated in the tail.

anyone tried it?

I seem to remember one person that did this or something similar. I will try to find the thread.

Not a single pic on any of those links. Curious how it looks. I don't have a use for the rear rack, but can't see how the bike would look better without the rack; everything seems to be integrated. Hopefully somebody can post a pic.

There are photos in those links, well... I can see them. Did you scroll up and down while you were in them?

I think that for someone not using a top case, it's a more finished look.

Meh, I don't like it.  It isn't horrible, but I prefer stock.

True, but I still like a place to tie a bag other than on the paint. Of course there is the back seat, which has the advantage of precluding it's use by a passenger.

Sure nuff, once I reset my user name and password, and logged in, I was able to see the pics. When did they make that change?

Interesting.   For here to see pics you have to be logged in but you don't have to be a member of any organization to be a member.  We take just about anyone except spammers and they are summarily executed on sight.

I don't think its a change.

Probably not a change.  It is pretty standard for most public forums.  It prevents a lot of wasted bandwidth from web crawlers, I suspect.  Attached pictures are much preferred, because they never disappear (have no dependencies on third-party sites), load faster (typically), and have no tracking cookies and such.
