The ones that Kawasaki make. Do they work? The clear plastic ones.

There has been little talk about them over the years

Probably because they are obscure, expensive, special-order-only, and never promoted.  Even finding them on Kawasaki's site is a major chore.

Are you talking about the Gen 2 with the speed limiter? Poor things have a top speed of only 154.  ::)     ;)

OK anybody have any experience with and without them? Do they help any when it's cooler? I always used the extenders on the C10 when the weather got cool.

Yes, they really help cut the wind from hitting your knees. I was lucky enough to grab a used set on here, since I refused to pay the ludicrous $ kawi wanted.

Yes, they really help cut the wind from hitting your knees.

Interestingly, I have no problems with air hitting my knees.... of course, I have short legs so that might have something to do with it.   But it does seem to hit my hips/side of upper thighs.   Other problem area is the back of my neck.  Doesn't seem to matter what I adjust, there is always cold air there.

Yes. They push out the air flow that would normaly hit you around the knees and upper legs.

Plus they only fit the slower Gen 2 bikes.    8)

Not all of the Gen 2 bikes are limited.  8)
So you just keep on thinking that.

That's correct. At those high speeds there is quite a bit of heat caused by air friction.   ;)
