The biggest rip is the erratic rate pricing from brand/model/year, from company to company. Total coverage on my C14 is $379 a year, and my 1150RT is covered for under $300. That is in the Houston area, where insurance ain't cheap.
Went to by an FZ-09 just for the fun of the bike, and was quoted $1200-1400 a year. That is simply a rip, to pay that much for a bike that sells for under $8K.
With the C14 available for $2500 less, and insurance at 1/3 the cost, the Kawi came home instead, and I am glad for it... tp
