Hi guys. New guy here.

I just picked up new Zero miles 2012 in Arabian Red last week. The first ride home was 80 miles and it happen to be Raining Super hard all the way home =)

You guys have great community here. I was able to find the right products and people to get them from.

No time to spare some good stuff were ordered.  :o

So today UPS Truck and my mail guy dropped off 4  boxes of goodies  ;D

HeliBar 2inch risers with Ram ball and Powerlet.
Grip Puppies.
TechSpec snake skins

and of course Canyon Cages with Bag protectors (Thank you Ryan at MC Enterprises for great product and super fast shipping!)

I also called Seth Laam and got on the books for a seat. (shipping it to him next week)

I have this weekend off from work and it will be a fun one! Installing all the upgrades.

Pictures will follow  ;)

My favorite color along with Diablo Black. I almost forgot that new C14's still have that bazooka- mine is but a dim memory after being swallowed by a dumpster. But some people need/want the silence, so to each his own.

I was thinking about getting V&H CS One, but it will have to wait for after I pay for Seth Laam seat and work some overtime to recoup the damaged done to my wallet. =)

I had to toss my bazooka after my 2 sons and nephew mocked the heck out of me- no respect from the peanut gallery. I'm lovin' the V&H CS-1 on my bike and Connie agrees. You will also love the Seth Laam, and get the butt-er soft leather with heat.

Installed TechSpec tank protector set. Everything went well except Center Tank Protector.

Once installed upper top corner came up and separated from the glue (glue is on the tank now) and will not stick back. Also found  a problem with mold on that item (it wasnt filled completely when it was made and there is some voids.

I got it directly from TechSpec-USA off their ebay store. I sent them message asking for replacement and included couple pictures. Lets see how good their customer service is.

When I had a similar issue TechSpec CS wanted me to mail back the old one first.

Not sure if they thought it was some elaborate scam for $8 worth of rubber, but such is life.   ::)

Ah, rats, I ordered from them but I prefer not to patronize places that pull that stuff.

SeattleDude, you have my exact bike, same everything, GET OFF IT RIGHT NOW!  >:( Haha, I'm currently sitting here at this exact moment with pretty much the exact same toys in the mail and can't wait. The MC bars LOOK like they were made FOR this bike. They actually looked at the lines and really complement everything really well.

WHAT—just look at those risers. They're powered??? Seriously? I dont' know if I need risers (DEFINITELY need new grips), but, tell me more about how they work? That's genius.

Also, have to ask, how'd you get the DREAMY photos? What camera and lens did you use?

SeattleDude,

I had the same problem with my TechSpecs. Everything fit great except for the middle piece. They were very willing to help, but I ended up cutting out my own in the end with a blank piece they sent me. The first one they supplied kept coming up at the edges, wouldn't lay flat, and generally looked like crap. I just cut more reliefs in mine, and it worked out well.

So, my question to you is: has MCE resolved the hardware issues with the Canyon Cages? I recall reading some threads earlier this year about plated bolts being sent out with the kits and damaging threads when owners went to install them on the bike. Any issues with yours? Is Ryan back? I was planning to pick up a set of Cages, but held off when these problems arose.

TechSpec sent me a new replacement for the center piece, but I didnt install it  yet.

As far as MC Canyon Cages bolts that came with it worked fine. I was just careful when installing front ones and everything went extremely well.

My set didnt come with torque specs, but quick call to Ryan at MC and I had torque specs.
