For $650??? You go first. I like the new high output LED headlights.
Just ordered a pair today for my new-to-me C14. Road test when they arrive.

I just saw them!
Very interesting- please do report on how you like them and what you think about them.
As always, any info. on new products like this appreciated.
How are they any different than the other ones from Ebay posted in other threads already? Look the same to me. So far, nobody has reported getting them.
Exactly- he can be our guinea pig!
You are just looking for a shortcut now to not finish your Infiniti lights project! We haven't forgotten!!
If you wait long enough, you can skip HID all together and jump straight to LED. The Q50 apparently uses LED (which I find far more fascinating now).
Back to the LED H4 lamps: I am quite curious but unfortunately do not think they can compete with current halogen lamps in existing H4 headlight buckets.
LED's can put out the amount of light OK but not in nearly as small a space and not sending that light out in the same way, which is omni- directional.
Absolutely not. But I wasn't talking about an LED H4 lamp, just LED headlights in general- something designed specifically for LED. I don't think it would be possible to have some type of H4 compatible lamp, if ever... mostly because LEDs need a lot of heat sync and emit light very differently.
It will require a projection system housing and lenses designed specifically for LED properties to be effective (larger surface area, narrow beam emission, large heat sync, etc). I am sure that is what Infiniti is doing, although I have almost no actual information about it (I am just assuming). I know they would not try using them if they were inferior to HID in any way (except maybe space).
Maxtog...it is "heat sink", amigo. A place to bury heat, not synchronize.
They come with heat sinks, and I do not know how well or how poorly they will work, and how much modification will be needed to get optimum beam patterns. Early adopter stuff.
Dammit...linky with road test. Try and be patient.
BDF...comparison fotos may not happen. I have high output H4s in there from the PO...one of the low beams is fried. I am not going to run out and buy two new stock bulbs at this point, and that would be the only meaningful way to compare. I CAN put in two random incandescent H4 bulbs, then two 35W HID, then two 55W HID, THEN the LEDs. I think all that is in the garage or on the C10 right now. That might be interesting.
Hero for the week will be expected for all that. Or a willing buyer for my now-neglected C10. Ad in For Sale section up soon...Changing the lights at night, with the bike parked, is the only way to insure the position stays identical, right? Oh, the pain of it all...

For an H4 replacement for headlights? I had not seen them.. only hybrids or lamps for lower lumen H4 applications like running lights or fog lights. Like this THIS thing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-H4-9003-High-Power-COB-LED-3200lm-High-Low-HeadLight-40W-Light-Bulb-DRL-Xenon-/310782543484 that is a lot sticking out the back!
Whoops, right you are. I am just in that computer lingo mode (hard to not be; I use that word probably every day). Fixed.
